there's literally no justification for giving people shit about what languages they've chosen to learn btw. some of you might not have dealt with it the same as i have, but it's been an annoyingly consistant theme in my life.

God is the Father because He is a male.
He is a male because He is a male. It’s a fact of His existence. There’s no “reason” that He is male, He just is. Just like there’s no “reason” you are female or I’m male. It’s merely a fact.
If God being male is misogynist I fail to see how Him hypothetically being a her/The Mother is any better. Would that not just be misandry? By what metric are you even claiming any of that?
You seem genuinely not willing to accept that God legitimately told us His pronouns. Which communicates to be you likely aren’t Christian and don’t really have a place debating this at all. In fact your dismissal of the Bible also suggests that.
If we’re going to discuss the Christian God then you have to accept that He exists and that everything He said in the Bible is truth. If you can’t at least accept those two things for the purposes of the discussion than you are incapable of discussing the Christian God. Because to remove either of those things means we’re no longer discussing the Christian God.

This might be hard to believe but Christians really do in fact believe that God exists. They dont think “God” is something we made up, or some scam, or some imagined thing we all just agree to pretend is real. Christians believe God really exists, and always has. God just IS. He is unchanging and eternal and outside of the limits of time or space, because those are created things, he doesnt have a nature like we do that can change from day to day because God doesnt do the whole day to day thing he just IS. So if you’re going to discuss the nature of God, from a Christian perspective, you have to have the assumption (at least for the sake of argument) that God DOES in fact exist, in the way that the Christians believe he does. That he just IS.
Relatedly, when God reveals himself to us as being masculine, we believe him. We believe that means that the nature of God is best understood, as far as we are capable of understanding it, as being the nature of a Father to creation, to us. A masculine role, a king, but also a father. Idk why this is taken by some to imply that “women bad actually” or “mothers bad” because those are unhinged takeaways.

Tumblr is a hub that lets you look at all the new content from your blogs in one place, that’s why it’s so different fundamentally from what I’ll call the MySpace model of social media, that’s why I think redditors as forum users fit into the ecosystem so much faster than twitter people, because Reddit is tumblr but for forums instead of blogs
Trying to make tumblr look and or function like twitter, a fundamentally different product, will just end up making people leave en masse like we did in late 2018 to find greener pastures, and especially pastures that don’t roll out updates in vague corporate speak and with no specific prior notice (because staffs recent post was worded towards shareholders and not Us)
