People really struggle to understand that my religion isn’t this fun club I’m a part of, it isn’t an opinion I have. The tenants of my faith I believe are literally factual truth, as real as the sky or the earth itself or the the law of gravity. When I say I want love, I don’t mean sex or even romance. I just want…. Someone to come back to after a long shift at work, to watch dumb romcoms on the couch with, to cook for and to share food with, to talk and listen and dance and go to fun places to try new things. I think that within society, “love” is so often defined in terms romance or sex that people forget that love also lies in emotional intimacy, in friendship, and in understanding. And I think the sooner that society starts to understand that, the better.

Ok, so apparently the government is actively blocking any help from people that aren't "approved" by the government. So basically if a family member on the mainland sends help to their relatives in Maui, the government will either throw it away or send it back. It will NOT make it to those in need. This is disgusting.

Also there are reports from people in Lahaina that the power was shut off on the night the fire started, August 8th. What's more, the water for all the neighborhoods were cut off!!? So they couldn't even put out the fires on their own! The firefighters weren't alerted at first, so no help came from them either. Yet, somehow, the rich and upperclass citizens living in Lahaina are totally fine...

Now a book has been published, Fire and Fury, about the MAUI FIRES only 2 DAYS after the fires started?? The book claims to have eyewitness accounts from between August 8-11, but it was published on August 10th! How??? This book is apparently pushing climate change garbage and was somehow written and published before the fires even stopped. Yet they managed to get eyewitness accounts too?

No matter how you look at this, something fishy is going on.

I really think that it’s important to remember @staff are trying to phase out custom blogs! Literally the most fun and interesting part of Tumblr and a very awesome selling point of Tumblr’s entire model.

That’s part of their whole ‘Tumblr’s not easy to use’ bullshit. They’ve been working at it for months now, you can’t even access someone’s custom blog from mobile anymore and like not even on the mobile website.

So yeah that theme and those pages you worked so hard to make unique and interesting? The webcomic hosted on Tumblr in such a way that it basically has it’s own website? The ARCHIVE of your blog that you can pretty much only access from a button on your custom blog? It’ll all go down the gutter if we don’t yell until our voices go hoarse.

This is a BLOGGING website the point of the website is THE BLOGS! I didn’t work hard to maintain my blog and keep the pages on it looking pretty for some hack at RND to decide it needs to go to make way for their ‘definitely not-Twitter’ ideal website. I swear to god the loss of our custom blogs will be the exact last straw for me and I WILL leave.
